Local network

Post by faf010 »

Hello everyone .

This weekend we will participate in a meeting and we have 6 PCs with JoinFS. Is it possible to fly in a local network without internet?

Thank you for your answers

Hi Alex

Sure you can do that and it is damm simple. I assume you all have already used JoinFS and with this have done the first start of JoinFS.

You have to have installed the latest version of JoinFS 1.4.13. Then:
  • First you all have to start your Flight Simulator and then JoinFS.
  • One of you have take on the role of the host. This is done by clicking 'Create' on the window that appears when JoinFS is started.
  • With the 'Create' click the network indicator becomes green and the host is on the local area network (LAN).
  • On the JoinFS window of the host, in the field labeled 'Me' there are three numbers that identify the host (nnnnn nnnnn nnnn). All other participants have to copy these three number in their JoinFS window into the field 'Hub' and click 'Join'. With this their Flight Simulator is connected to hub.

Enjoy your flight
