New version for MSFS bug wont load

New version for MSFS bug wont load. I keep getting a popup see pic attached. I tried it with the old program removed using the control panel app and with it still in place. but both way it wont install.

You don't need to remove the old version. Just install the new version and it will update it automatically.

The Test version installed but I get that popup every time I try and instal the new version.

JoinFS uses the WiX Toolset to create the installer. There might be some help there.

Try uninstalling the old version from the Windows control panel under Programs and Features?

I already did do that, that's what caused the problem as there is no program to remove. I don't know why I get this message when I try and install the new version.

Something has obviously got out of sync or something has been left hanging from the uninstall.

Have you tried running the executable as administrator? It usually asks during install but try running it as admin from the start. Or maybe log into Windows as administrator and install it.

When I right click on the installer I don't get to chose to install as administrator, it's not there.

Given up on trying to load the normal JoinFS but now the Test version won't work either, just went to open it and made sure I updated the scanning for aircraft but on opening it it shows no aircraft listed and on trying to open the hubs all are unavailable (see pic)

Now I the hub page is totally empty, What is wrong with it?

After a few days if the hubs are contactable they will get purged from your hub list. The main issue is that JoinFS is unable to talk to the hubs from your PC. Are other people able to connect to a session created by you?

Just tried installing the new version but get the same pop up saying "The older version of JoinFS cannot be removed" There is no older version to remove. So what do I do / try now?
