X-Plane 11 & Joinfs

Just purchased X-Plane 11. When I try to connect with JoinFS the simulator is "Orange". Simulator is running first, just not connecting with JoinFS. What am I missing here? I enabled the X-plane in the JoinFS options. Thanks Walt

Did you install the Xpuipc plugin? This must be installed for JoinFS to connect to the sim.

Good morning... NO I didn't. This X-plane 11 is new tome and I am just learning it. I usually use Prepar3dv4. Where do I get this Xpuipc plug in?

Downloaded Xpuipc. Shows in the Xplane plugin but wrong I address error pops up. Don't know where to enter the ip address.

Put the ip address for my PC in the Xpuipc config file, saved it and I still get the IP address error when I start Xplane 11

Changed Xpuipc config ip address to 127.0.0.2 and nol onger get the IP Address error, But...… still not connecting in JoinFs.

Did you install the plugin using the button in the JoinFS settings?

It will only connect to X-Plane once you have loaded into the 3D part of X-Plane.

Is that right XPlane users?
I would have thought 127.0.0.1????

All set, I have everything working now. Able to connect X-plane 11 with JoinFS now. But that ip address 127.0.0.2 is working. So hope everything stays the same. Thanks everyone for your help. Still have a lot to learn with the X-Plane11 though. Maybe we can fly together in JoinFS some day.

I put the actual INTERNAL IP address of my flight computer in the xpuipc.ini. (In my case: 192.168.0.100) That fixed the error for me.
