P3DV4 can see X-plane - X-plane can not see P3DV4

Hi,
I use P3DV4.1 and tested JoinFS with a Friend who use X-Plane. I can see him, but he can not see me. He see my Aircraft in the List with direction and distance, but the Aircraft-Entry is orange.
Any Idea ??

Hi Achim,

Ask him to check his <x-plane>\Log.txt file and look for 'JoinFS' entries in there. I suspect that the JoinFS plugin has failed to get access to the aircraft. He may need to disable another plugin so that JoinFS gets the access.

Another suggestion would be to make sure your X-Plane using friend has AI aircraft set up in X-Plane. We select all of the default aircraft as AI in X-Plane and then use the JoinFS model matching feature to choose a corresponding aircraft type.

On a side note we've found that in X-Plane if you select a non-laminar aircraft to use in Model matching it may cause pauses or stutters.
