Re: Option to block the AI traffic
I think a way for the end user to block any traffic would be good. Think of a scenario where there are people conducting flights by starting their aircraft to real world checklists, before departing on a real world SID doing everything by the book and then 10yr old Billy joins in his F18 departing f...

Re: ATC with JOINFS
[ Perhaps the network position is causing it to keep touching and lifting off the ground slightly and causing the state to switch. That's exactly what I thought and glad I was able to explain it. Also regarding the QNH/Altimeter setting . If the session that created the AI on is on a different pres...

Re: ATC with JOINFS
Just checked with the default radar. I don't see any JOINFS ground aircraft. Well there was one that flickered on and off as if one update would show it as on the ground and the next it would be airborne. It was stationary on the ground. Where as if I create an FSX AI aircraft on the ground on my PC...

Re: ATC with JOINFS
You should see both Peter.
Although I've edited my radar a lot so I'll check with the default shortly.
There's a button bottom right of the radar controls which will filter ground, air or both.

Re: v1.0.7
Looks good.
Bugs I've found.
Auto broadcast does not transmit any more, although all tick boxes do get ticked as they enter.
Bearing to other aircraft is 180degs out.
Usernames is a great feature and shows on radar allowing anything to be entered including a real world trigraph/callsign for ATC.

That would be nice for those of us with a Dynamic IP and a NOIP service.Peter wrote: That reminds me, I need to enable DNS lookup.

Re: v1.0.5 - TEST
Thanks - I will try this but - 1. I did not need to do that before so it is not clear why that would have changed 2. There seems to be an issue affecting more than just me - see my earlier post. Dan I connect to a FSJOIN server on a lan from a different machine Dan, so can confirm it works that way...
Re: RT COMMS
The download links are in the post below. http://msflights.net/forum/showthread.php?3477-SIMCOM-Auto-Switch-TS3-Channels-using-the-Radio-Stack Feel free to use it, as thats why I created it no credit is needed. Re: RT COMMS
I have created a Plugin that allows you to auto switch channels in Teamspeak 3 when you tune your aircraft radio if that's of any help?
Re: RT COMMS
I agree with Martin.
FSX voice isn't the best anyway.
If it's the swapping frequencies when talking to controllers you miss then there are options available.

I noticed you said that you were inputting your external IP to connect.
As the Server is on your lan have you tried connecting with its local IP?
I too connect to a server on my LAN and both external and internal addresses will connect to it.

Re: COM1 ACTIVE
I've used ATC ID in one of my Plugins in the past.
I maybe wrong as it was a while ago but..
If ATC ID is set and no callsign is set, it will send the reg
displaying the reg on radar.

I've also noticed only the aircraft reg is sent.
Could ATC ID be sent to show those aircraft using Callsigns?

COM1 ACTIVE
As I've mentioned on other forums I've been testing JOINFS and the default radar. Works great for us budding controllers. Joinfs sends the clients squawk so that shows on radar. Is it possible for the ACTIVE COM1 and GPS DESTINATION to be sent too? This would then show in the default radar like the ...
