Re: Ai Traffic
Hi, Thanks for your comments. Yes, you can do this with the current version. From the menu, you can open the aircraft list from View|Aircraft. On your first PC you should see the AI aircraft appear in the aircraft list. In the broadcast column you can tick the boxes for the aircraft that you want to...

Re: Hi from FSXatWar
Hi there, I appreciate you posting on the forum. I'm interested very much in making JoinFS fully compatible with FSXatWar and am happy to make any necessary changes to get everything functional and working correctly. Perhaps we could arrange to meet on TeamSpeak or Discord if you already have one se...

Re: 1.1.4 report
Hi Wood, 1. I'll have to investigate this. I installed the CCP the other day. 2. How did the airspeed difference become apparent, do you mean you were using shared cockpit? It sounds like it may be that the weather didn't correspond between the two clients. Did you check the wind readout in the airc...

Re: Normal FSX and carriers
I'm fairly sure I did at one point. I certainly saw it in the list with two or three aircraft and nodes.ATC Roo wrote: Did you manage to connect to the Linux hub?
I've a windows hub running at the moment.

That's great, Andy. Looking forward to trying that myself. And I noticed that the hub was running on your linux server. Another box ticked.
In theory, I suppose it should run on a Raspberry Pi?

Hi Roman,
well spotted, you're right, that is a quirky one, and quite annoying. Easily fixable though.
See you again in the Hawaiian skies,

Re: Vrs Tacpack
Unlikely the damage will work as well but I shall try a few things out, such as forcing a missile object's position directly on to an aircraft. That may activate the correct damage response.

Re: Display Of Nickname
But what do you mean by "ticked all of the labels in the simulator setting"? In FSX, you can go to Settings | Customize | Traffic. There you will see a group of tick boxes under Aircraft Labels. I think it's Tail Number that you need to show the nicknames, but try a few of them. In the si...

Re: Display Of Nickname
Hi Juergen,
it ought to be working ok. Have you ticked all of the labels in the simulator Settings?
Are you looking at the label of your own aircraft or are you trying to see the nicknames of other pilots in the session?

Hi, In the latest test version 1.1.4 it now broadcasts all models that start with "VRS_", "FSXatWar" and "VACMI". So you no longer need to use the auto-broadcast option if you were using that. Don't forget that when you Scan For Models you need to tick the Misc folder a...

Re: Not seeing all planes network issue
Hi Mark, There's a new test version 1.1.4. I've tweaked a couple of things that should make the routing more tolerant and hopefully sort out these connection drops. When you next have a group flight if you could get everyone up to 1.1.4 and then let me know which of the following applies: A. No appr...

Re: New Feature List
Would it be Even easier if you implemented it the same as Aircraft, Helicopters and Boats? What I meant was how does JoinFS know that you are acting as an ATC? I can't just use the ATC Mode because some people use that for GPS radar. I can check that you don't have an aircraft loaded up as well and...

Re: Moving a Great Distance - Bug vs. Observation
Are the aircraft in the list when you join the session though?
When you join a session you should see all aircraft in the list no matter where they are in the world. If they're not there then it could be a bug.

Re: Moving a Great Distance - Bug vs. Observation
Hi, Dan.
So, you say that after moving the other aircraft do not appear in the aircraft list. I take it that you are using the Follow feature. Are the aircraft listed before you move, and do they disappear after the move?

Re: New Feature List
1. I was thinking about that recently. That should be quite easy to do. 2. That's pretty much already on the todo list. 3. Interesting. I could use the ATC Mode, however some people use that to show aircraft on the GPS so that wouldn't quite work. How about I check if the user has no aircraft and ha...

Re: Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Roman, It was a pleasure flying with you guys. I'll hopefully have the Hawaii scenery installed by the weekend, so looking forward to another trip down the coast. I can't see anything in that header about injecting aircraft into the simulator, but I shall have a proper look at FS9 at some point. ...
