Re: RT COMMS
That is pretty cool ATC_Roo. I've downloaded it and sent it off to my ATC guys to see if they think we can use it.
Re: RT COMMS
Now that is cool! I'd take a link to that if you'd pass it along. Can I add it as a download to my VA's web site with your permission and credit?ATC Roo wrote:I have created a Plugin that allows you to auto switch channels in Teamspeak 3 when you tune your aircraft radio if that's of any help?

Re: Port Forwarding in South Africa
Did our tests today. All worked fine. SA pilot was able to connect to me here without a hitch. We were using the stable version 1.0.3.

Re: Port Forwarding in South Africa
There are a few reasons that they might do that. A lot of services can be risks to the network if Improperly configured or compromised. They may have gateway protections and watch for priveliged port traffic. They may also want revenue or up-charge to open ports - depends on if there is an outright...
Re: RT COMMS
There are a couple of free voice (gaming) services out there - Discord https://discordapp.com/ - GameVox https://www.gamevox.com/en/ Both work well, are easy to set up, display on a VA or Club Website and did I mention they're free! Just my opinion but adding comms to JoinFS isn't necessary. Other o...

Port Forwarding in South Africa
Hi Pete One of the pilots in my VA/Club lives in South Africa. His ISP controls ports on his router. He is not allowed to port forward and the Authorities will not allow the ISP to port forward. Is there a way around port forwarding for clients connecting to the host? Not urgent so when you have tim...
Re: Bug List
Peter... Downloaded Ver 1.0.0 and did a test helo flight with another of my VA pilots. WORKED superbly and was very smooth. We were easily able to place each other in different aircraft as well. This is outstanding! http://i810.photobucket.com/albums/zz25/MartinVIFC013/Flight%20Sim%20Snaps/JoinFS_He...

Re: The Global Hub Network
For our club/va we like the idea of no hub or server. In the past we had three FSD servers interconnected. Keeping them running was our biggest issue. However I'd be interested in seeing how it worked and would be happy to help test it.

Re: Another port forwarding question
Peter working now, thanks. It appears that all pilots should port forward 6112. Once we did that no problem. One comment though it appears not to see helicopters. I am not complaining just wanted to point it out. You have a fantastic start here and I'll be contributing to your efforts in the only wa...

Re: Another port forwarding question
u should be okay with port forwarding enabled. A couple of things to check: Is the Pilot count still on '1'. If it's on '1' then they definitely haven't connected. If it goes above 1, then someone has connected. From the View menu, you can also check the list of aircraft, network nodes and text outp...

Another port forwarding question
I downloaded the client and with some friends tried to connect. On my end I have FSX-SE running and the JoinFS client. Both the Simulator and Network icons are green. I have provided the IP as displayed in the "My IP" field to the other pilots. They are unable to connect. I've port forward...

Re: New Feature List
Thank you Peter. Lots of grumbling out there about windows 10, so a MacOS client might be a good thing.

Re: New Feature List
Any thought about MacOS Support? I have a couple of pilots on my VA that use X-Plane on MacOS who would love to fly multiplayer. They'd most likely also be willing to act as Beta Testers.
