I do not know how I can use JoinFS in an airshow where a person designated as the cameraman does the "pick-up" via the ORBX 1st Person BOB or similar to either stream the show or even simpler, display it on a large monitor connected to his computer.
Can someone help me with this please?

Re: SimConnect Exception 25
Hello Peter - thnx for the reply. I neglected to check what version that I am using - sorry. However, I will do as you suggested and get the 1.1.6 version and try that. Also will get the 1.1.7 version whenever it is available. I certainly do not mind being an "unofficial tester" for you b...

SimConnect Exception 25
When in record mode I am getting several SimConnect Exception 25 errors when looking at the log in the monitor I find that anytime I record, the aircraft jumps around wildly sometimes a few thousand feet. Even when not recording, the arcrafr spins around, even faces rearward when doing a loop. It lo...

Re: Phantom Aircraft at 250,000ft - 0Kts
Waiting anxiously for our flight session this evening to see if TacPac is the offending add-on. According to the 600+ page documentation wiki (aparently too large for a pdf) there is a way to disable TacPac. This may be of some use to other groups thar are or at some future point will be experiencin...

Re: JoinFS Multiplayer Map
Hi Travis A possible temporary solution would be to use a moving map addon. A free verson is Little Nav Map. A couple of payware maps are FSTramp anf Flight Sim Commander. Of course each pilot would need to install the map. All will show the data you are interested as well as the tail numbers. The p...

Phantom Aircraft at 250,000ft - 0Kts
We are a group of four T-33 aircraft. Three of us are FSX Boxed and one is FSX Steam - which is the very reason that we have begun using JoinFS. When the Steam pilot joins the session, for some unknown reason to other aircraft (UOs) are with him at 250,000ft and are stationary at 0Kts. We cannot fig...

Re: JoinFS - First Use report from the FSX Bluebirds
Hi, Chris Thanks for your comments re: our videos. We have finally gotten to the point of at least being in the same part of the sky :) through hard work and disappointment of lost pilots. We are far from perfect to say the least, but non the less proud of our accomplishments over the past few month...

JoinFS - First Use report from the FSX Bluebirds
Let me begin by thanking Peter for his work! I am the Lead pilot for the FSX Bluebirds, and yesterday afternoon I was helping our brand new pilot get ready to fly with us. Every thing went well until it was time to connect to the FSX Direct Connection Based multiplayer session that I had set up. He ...

Re: Followed Aircraft jumping in Overdub
Hi, Was the jumpy aircraft a recording of a network aircraft or one that you recorded of yourself? The recording of network aircraft still needs a bit of work. I made some changes a while ago that made them a bit jumpy. I'm not sure what you mean by seeing all the aircraft at once from a tower view...

Re: Followed Aircraft jumping in Overdub
Absolutely no problem, Peter. This is a really great piece of work. The manual that I downloaded is the pdf format file from the link at the top of the page. I am sure that I am not alone in telling you how much your work is appreciated, and once I have the opportunity to present this to my pilots, ...

Re: Followed Aircraft jumping in Overdub
Thanks for your reply, Peter I am still on the learning curve of this software, and I believe it was a recording of myself, however I am not 100% Sure how to tell one from the other yet. Still studying the manual. How would I Go about making a recording that may not be jumpy? Will keep experimenting...

Followed Aircraft jumping in Overdub
Good day, Sir! First of all, thank you for a great piece of software. It was very easy to download, install and set up. This will be a huge help for my formation Team (FSX Bluebirds). Jumping Details I recorded a flight then set up to fly with it on the right wing using the overdub feature. I found ...
