Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Curious.... If you switch Com 2 again (from standby to active), does the Com2 standby correct itself? As far as the digits showing up in standby COM2, no it does not correct itself. However I know it sees the frequency, because when switching between standby and active, the correct frequency shows ...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, Thanks for the response. The AutoSwitch, FSX and FSUIPC tick boxes not saving is intentional. I found in earlier versions that if they remained selected with no sim running, it would cause Simcom X to slow down and eventually become unresponsive as it continually tried to connect to a sim. Unde...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, I and my flying partner were finally able to do some extensive testing on the latest version with good success. We tried both SCX mode and Host and Join group server modes. Only issue we found was the auto com switch and FSX check boxes does not save after exiting or when switching between mode...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, Thanks for the quick response, What we have found so far is, in join or group server, once a frequency has been used, and then select a different frequency, the previous frequency is no longer able to be retuned. (ie 123.450 - 118.750 ok, but going from say 124.400 - 118.750 frequency 118.750 w...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo,
Also forgot to mention, even when we are connected, we do not see either of our call signs in the frequency box.

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, I seem to be having problems with the auto com switching on ver 2.0.0.8. My flying partner and I are both having the same problem. In group host or join group server, initially everything connects and we are able to communicate, however after the first switch of the radios, SIMCOM will no longe...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, Loaded v2.0.0.5, and received an exception error when powering on the app. Screenshot attached. Could not proceed any further. Also in the windows winsxs folder i show 3 entries for Sim Connect x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.61259.0_none_55f5ecdc14f60568 (SimConn...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, Not at home right now, but I am running WIN 7, box version FSX, with Acceleration pack which includes SP2. Not sure of the of the version of SimConnect, but I'll get that info once I get home from work. I have not been able to get a connection regardless of what is checked. I can get the FSX/P3...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Hey Roo, I did a reload on V2.0.0.3 and took a screenshot of my log.txt. FSX is up and running with a flight loaded the FSX/P3D box checked. Auto Com switch was selected prior to powering on, but deselected itself and Sim remained offline. Hope this helps and thanks in advance for the great support....

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Hey Roo, I was out of town for the last couple of weeks and have just loaded ver 2.0.0.3. Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem that I had with 1.3.1.1. I did a complete uninstall of 1.3.0.9, then installed 2.0.0.3. What I found was without FSX turned on at all, I inserted my call sign, se...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Hey Roo,
Not sure about X-Plane but 1.3.1.1 will no longer retain FSX settings, and does not show Sim Online, regardless of network. Tried a clean install but no help. Settings specifically are FSX/P3D and Auto Com Switch. Had to go back to 1.3.0.9 to operate.

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Roo, In ver 1202 and 1204, in Group Host mode, Auto Com switching no longer works. When connecting app defaults to freq 122.800. Auto Com shows green, but no change in sim. SCX mode works correctly. My flying partner has the same problem on his when using Group Host mode. Screenshot attached. Thanks...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application
Hey Roo, FYI, I updated to v 1337, and the app no longer opens up. The icon shows in the sys tray but the GUI does not display. When I went back to 1336 everything worked correctly. I had a windows update prior to installing the new ver. WIN7 .NET Framework (KB4487078), Monthly Quality Rollup (KB448...
