Re: No sync of lights, flaps and gear (3.2.13)
Re: Animations. The aircraft are drawn in X-Plane using something called XPXM2. As things stand the JoinFS plugin injects the aircraft into X-Plane but the actual modifications and animations on the model are not yet updated so any variable changes will not be seen in X-Plane simply because the mode...

Re: No sync of lights, flaps and gear (3.2.13)
The animations on X-Plane have not been activated yet. JoinFS uses the XPMP2 tools and I think just needs a bit of code to get them working. I will probably get a chance to look at that soon. However, you should be able to see lights etc on MSFS, even when the aircraft are from X-Plane. The lights s...

Re: tacan frequency
Not sure what 17Y is but you only need to specify the SIMCONNECT variable on that line, not the actual value. Those lines look fine if that is the variable you are trying to change. You could try removing the NAV1_RADIO_SET part, for example, INTEGER|sim/cockpit/radios/nav1_freq_hz|NAV ACTIVE FREQUE...

Re: MS2020 CTD
The early access version now has a fix for this. Instead of a CTD you should now see some error messages in the monitor window instead.

Re: tacan frequency
It sounds like you need to link the variable on the carrier that is using that frequency. Does the carrier show up in the aircraft window or the objects window. If it is in the objects window, you need to edit the variables on the carrier. Add a file like carrier.txt containing a new line with the A...

Re: MS2020 CTD
Unfortunately, that's not much to go on. I would suggest making sure Windows is up to date.
The images that you posted show that the Application error is highlighted. Does the '.NET Runtime' error show anything different?

Re: JoinFS Crashes on start
You should be able to find the file 'user.config' in 'Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Peter_Memmott\JoinFS-XPLANE.exe_*****\1.0.0.0\. Manually edit the file and change the entry for 'XPlaneFolder'. That should fix it.

Re: tacan frequency
I fly the FA18E superhornet FSX SE using joinfs but have never been able to share tacan frequencies with other players. Has anyone ever been able to get it working using the variables as above. If so could someone please explain it in simple terms how to do it. Perhaps with an example giving the te...

Re: Suitable for flying interceptions?
Not sure about the VRS compatibility. It may work. There is an option in the JoinFS settings to allow all Tacpac objects to be broadcast in the session. I would enable that.

Re: Suitable for flying interceptions?
Hi, You can record an aircraft's flight with JoinFS and replay it back. You can then record/overdub unlimited aircraft into the same recording to build more complicated scenarios. The recording can be saved and played back at a later time. The aircraft can also be broadcast within the JoinFS multipl...

Re: Can't Fly Loops.
Hi,
it will be related to the smoothing tweaks that I did. I can try reversing the tweaks one by one until it is working again as it used to. Look out for a new early access build 3.2.14.

Re: JoinFS with XP11 and CSLs
It is now supported in the latest JoinFS. Put your CSL objects in the folder <x-plane>\Resources\plugins\JoinFS\Resources\CSL\, or change the folder location in the Scan For Models window when scanning.
