Re: ID and Password again
Hi Peter, Some time ago a request to be able to use a password for connecting to a server was put on the to do list. At that occasion I asked for the possibility to use an ID and password. At the moment P3Dv4 users of our airline (DC3 Airways) use an old version of vPilot + a proxy server to connec...

Tacpack Tankers
Hello, Just not to deviate on other threads, I'll create a new one to discuss about the Tankers function for VRS Tacpack through JoinFS connection. I've found the issue may be related to some variables Tacpack SDK will require to now if a tanker is really a tanker. This is gonna be allways talking w...

Re: JoinFS "Flight server" with CCP/FSX@War running
Peter, I know exactly what he is saying. Neither the "Tacpack spawned" Tanker nor Tacpack in flight refueling capability is transferring across JoinFS. If I spawn a Tanker through Tacpack, I am the only one who can see it or tank from it. This is true whether you spawn it yourself or on t...

Re: JoinFS "Flight server" with CCP/FSX@War running
1.- FSX@WAR objets are not broadcasted. As well as this issue, we have noticed that a big amount of effects of fsxatwar( fire, smoke, explisions...) are broadcasted in a infinite loop in some point of the scenery, originating a crash in the sim of the clients(not the server) 2.- CCP Ground Vehicles...

Re: How hard would it be to add an animation?
Looking forward to this also... we want to start making AAR with JoinFS & Tacpack... hope we can make a "team" to experiment with this if you wish Peter.

Idea: Kind of a JoinFS SDK
Hi Peter, Yesterday while flying with my fellows I come into a idea that may be good for the future of JoinFS. Of course I don't know the insides of your software but is worth to share it here with you. It's regarding custom events, custom variables and custom animations. There is a huge list of air...

Re: Italian Manual
Hi Giancarlo, Is it a translation of the website page or a translation of the guide created by Dan Sullivan from Elite PremAir Virtual? If it is the guide then you should ask Dan about any copyright issues. If it's the manual page on the website then it's no problem at all. Thanks for checking. The...

Re: Help testing 'Third Party Events' 0x11000 - 0x1100A
Hi, If anyone uses or develops add-ons that use something called 'third part events', at some point could you try version 1.2.9? I've added support for the first ten events in the range 0x11000 - 0x1100A. However, I'm not familiar with any add-ons that use these events so I'm unable to actually tes...
Re: RT COMMS
We used Zello as an Intercom between IVAO Controllers on RFO Events, for example... but I can't see nice for flying.
As I said before, the best approach will be a TeamSpeak 3 Plugin which find the channel with the same name as your active COMM frequency and moves you there. Shouldn't be hard.

Re: Joined Cockpit problems
So on new version we can say that shared cockpit will be at the same level (or better) than default FSX/P3D MP one? Of course airliners with allmost all custom gauges will be harder (maybe need to use the included SDKs/APIs) but for simple ones, as we use for instruction like Iris PC9 and Lotus L39...

Re: Tacpack + FSX@War report for v1.2.8
That's great news, thanks for the update, Tisor. Yes, I improved the handling of smoke in 1.2.8. It was not specific to aircraft either, so it should work well on ground objects. In your scenario was the ground object owned by one person (in terms of JoinFS) with broadcast enabled? Or was the objec...

Re: Joined Cockpit problems
Hi Turambar, Yes, not everything is currently synchronized in shared cockpit. I'm slowly adding support for things as they are requested. In fact, version 1.2.9, which is close to being released adds more functions, such as autopilot states, DME selection and altimeter. With those, GA type shared c...

Tacpack + FSX@War report for v1.2.8
Good Morning, Yesterday, at Ala 12 Virtual we tried the new version with the VRS Tacpack, our Superbugs and FSX@War. We were flying on a test scenario on our firing range at Bardenas, Spain. We had some pre-placed stuff there and we drop some iron. The report is very successful. First of all, now St...

Re: Experiencing stutters on close formation
Hi Tisor, Could you try getting everyone to close any open JoinFS windows except the main one. That may be a cause. And also try the next version 1.2.8 which is out soon because that will include a fix to ensure that fuel and payload is being synced correctly. Currently they aren't being synced at ...

Experiencing stutters on close formation
Hello Peter, We are trying to investigate the cause of what can be happening to us. Long time ago I read someones were having stutters when flying on close formations, but I've never heard about it after that. Also searched on the forum with no results. We are experiencing it this days, almost unnot...

If it's helping, Spanish Language on the OS, and FSX Steam for everyone.

Re: Complete Desync of every aircraft. Connection Speed related?
Thanks, Tisor, that's a great find. I'll do some checks here as well. Peter Hello, Confirmed: When Minimizing to system tray, desync occurs and JoinFS must be restarted . Without this option clicked, everything works like a charm. We made the flight perfectly and tested after landed: everyone fail ...

Re: Complete Desync of every aircraft. Connection Speed related?
Hi Peter, We found the cause of the desync. When JoinFS window is minimized, the desync starts with the user who do it. We have checked 4 times, all 4 times occur. Re: Complete Desync of every aircraft. Connection Speed related?
Hi Tisor, that sounds odd. There was one report of a similar desync issue, but that was about a year ago. JoinFS uses a tiny amount of bandwidth. If you have ten aircraft in the session, half a megabit connection should be ok. The more people who join with low bandwidth the more likely you are to s...

Complete Desync of every aircraft. Connection Speed related?
Hi Peter, On our last flights, we are suffering a nightmare with JoinFS. It get desync everytime, and we don't know why. Logs don't show nothing strange, appart from Simconnect Exception: 3. Situation: Server is a JoinFS instance running on a PC acting only as server, running on a symetric 300mbps c...
