Re: Unable to see aircraft
ok, finally resolved the issue. Looking at the console and the a/c window I was able to see the error. Somehow, during the initial scan, I came up with two versions of the same a/c with slightly different names. One works and the other does not. Once I substituted the correct name, the a/c became vi...

Re: Unable to see aircraft
Didn't check the monitor window but were were all in session window and he and I were both flying the same a/c. Didn't check the a/c in the window.
Won't fly again until next week - I'll check those items if problem continues.
Thanx,
Vic

JoinFS and Teamspeak
Been playing around a bit with Teamspeak during some online sessions. The problem is, when FS ahs the focus you cannot respond. For two monitors, same issue. How do others get around this issue to have Teamspeak always keep/get focus?
Thanx,
Vic

Re: JFS & MSFS2020
From the FSUIPC folks I see there is a new simconnect.dll that will be available on release. That may affect how JFS functions.

Re: Same users in multiple servers
Yes. I started Joinfs - view hubs - selected skypark and join from hubs dialog - view users - that's screen cap FSJ01
click network green button - on hubs select Flyboys and join from hubs - view users - screencap FSJ02
Many of the users are shown in both screwencaps.

Same users in multiple servers
Was trying out test 4.29
Global was not ticked
I joined three different sessions and noticed that there were many users with the same name in the sessions. Is this normal?

1.4.25 connect issues
Three of us tried to connect through Grumpy's FlyByWires using .25 - ALl of could connect and we could see each other listed in the Users list BUT shown as not connected and we could not see each other in sim. Tried various combinations of Global vs non Global. Tried another server - same pattern. W...

Re: Strange problem
Just like when you take your car to the mechanic - three of us joined Grumpy's hub and took a flight around Japan in severe weather provided by AS16 - no problems whatever. We all saw each other and when we got to our destination, Grumpy and a friend joined us there. We could see all five of us. Had...

Re: Strange problem
ok, a followup - everyone is running multiple versions of simconnect so we have that covered. In further testing, we all connected to Grumpy's Flybywire Hub (thanx Grumpy) and went to the same airport. Eventually we were all able to see each other but it took a bit of dropping out nd coming in and r...

Re: Strange problem
Hi Peter - ok when we run it again I'll get a log for you. *I* am connected to the same router as the server so I use the 192.168.xx.xx address of the server to connect to the session as MY IP address is the same as the server. The externals connect to the external IP. I'm puzzled though, I (P3D4) c...

Strange problem
Ran into something that seems strange. I have an idea on the problem but want your opinion Set up a closed session using a server as "host" on port 2400. Have 3 users, P3D4, FSX +Accel, FSX Sp1. All connect just fine. Under users and aircraft all are shown. Now here's the issue P3D4 can se...

Re: Auto start session
Hi Peter -
Thanx for the quick response. I've been reading the PDF file on your site, I'll locate the manual. I figured there had to be some command line params somewhere. Seems pretty straightforward.
Thanx for the guidance!

Auto start session
Hi Peter - Want to set up a private hub for a few friends. As I reqad the docs, it seems like the hub setup would work but the ip address would be public. Is there a way to start FSJoin on boot and have it create a session using a dedicated IP address? The few people that we fly with would know the ...
