I see you and I on the session window on both the server and the client.

If I enter the local IP 192.168.0.2(the server machine) and click Join it joins and AVSIM RTW shows in the box. Is that what you mean?

I have only 2.0.4 on both machines. I've had some success by going to the bookmarks file and deleting all the bookmarks. Then I went to the Hubs, selected AVSIM RTW, right clicked and selected Join. Which it did. At the same time I ticked Save. Which it did. It also put a tick in the duplicate AVSIM...

Now you mention it MSF regards all the parked up aircraft and airport staff (idle sods) as 'traffic. Little Nav Map sees the same thing but you can turn them off.

Well I don't see a fleet of aircraft in the sim. I've not looked at distance and bearing. I jumped straight onto 'AI aircraft'.

There's probably a simple answer to this but I can't find it. In the Aircraft list Ron(A) appears dozens of times. I've been accused of having a split personality but this is going too far! I'm on MSF and do not have AI traffic enabled.

Gosh! This is fun. I edited the bookmarks2.txt to read AVSIM ----- to 192.168.0.2 and it connected and it connected via the hub as well. Sheesh! Are you trying to kill me?

Ahem. I spoke too soon. It doesn't remember it network IP at all. Does this sound like a cfg edit in the offing?

OK you can stop worrying Peter. I put the 192.168.0.2 address in the Join slot and it connected and it saved the address. So all is good.
