Does this happen if you are both flying default aircraft in P3D and FSX?

Re: Strange Loss of Function
Thanks Peter. What seemed very odd to me was that on the machine that JoinFS did not work if no other JoinFS applications were running on my LAN but it did work when I started JoinFS on a second computer. Will watch for the latest version. Test v1.4.27 does work (and I was able to connect with other...

Strange Loss of Function
About a week ago I installed v1.4.25 to help a couple of folks verify their connecti0n was working properly. No issues - we each saw each other, I could see a long list of users when connected to the Global hub. Left this running for a few hours so others could test as needed but did not check back ...

Yes - v1.4.20. They had not tried shared-cockpit on previous versions.

X-Plane Pilots - Please Comment
Not an X-Plane flyer myself but I am reporting some issues between two flying on X-Plane and between me (on P3D v4.4) and an X-Plane flyier. Two of our X-Plane pilots encountered some problems - Cessna 172 G1000 (both in this plane) - sharing all controls: pilot taking over could not control anythin...

Shared Cockpit - Again
Saw the Topic from earlier - origin date Apr. 3 Got into a stock FSX Cessna 172 - without full control (I had control of everything other than primary flight controls) the host pilot could not see anything change in his aircraft (flaps, radio frequencies, etc.). When I had full control he could see ...

Low Oil Pressure
Just hopped into a Boeing 737-800 (stock FSX - both host and me). 'Low Oil Pressure' lights are flashing on and off - about a one second per flash cycle. Oil pressure readout scrolls up and down from ~ 31 down to zero and back up again. I also noted that when I joined a Lear 35 (payware) with the id...

Re: Send Flightplan
You can see the flight plan for each aircraft in the aircraft list window. I could add a new function to copy the flight plan from another aircraft and set that in your simulator, is that similar to what you are asking for? Peter Peter - That would be a great feature. One pilot has a flight plan - ...

Re: No fuel burn in shared cockpit 1.4.3?
I too have observed this - seemed to me that I was seeing the fuel from my aircraft since what I was seeing was not what the host aircraft had and fuel never changed.

Did a quick check here - agree, cannot check the 'Ignore' box, although the box does 'blink' briefly when you click but no check mark appears.

X-Plane Connecting with FSX - Initial Test
Peter: Some results of initial tests using FSX and X-Plane 11.05 (a 64 bit version) - JoinFS v1.2.10 does not appear to connect X-Plane aircraft although the user can be seen on the User list - Appears that JoinFS needs to be run as administrator to get the model matching to work in X-Plane - From t...

Re: B737, CRJ 700 Shared Cockpit Instruments Go Dark
Thanks Peter.
I think we will do what we have to do as a work-around for now since it sounds like this will be fixed in about three weeks. Appreciate your attention to this. I've been identifying the X-Plane folks here so they can give some feedback on the X-Plane test version.

B737, CRJ 700 Shared Cockpit Instruments Go Dark
Observed by others but not yet by me - will test this when I get a chance Both host and guest pilot in shared cockpit flying the same stock FSX aircraft - the pilot joining has no issue seeing the instruments initially but within two or three minutes the electronic instruments go blank. Pitot-static...

Re: Hi, JoinfS crash after win10 updated it selfs to latest ver!!
Sorry to come up with this after the damage is done - but I turned off my Windows 10 updates when I found out they were loading apps and other programs that I do not need or want to generate revenue. See how to do it here (a bit of bla bla bla in the beginning - scroll down about half way to see the...

This might be a model matching issue. I have seen the same thing when using P3D v4 - try substituting via the View | Aircraft list.

Re: Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.2.3
Thanks Peter. Actually, I meant to say something to that effect - that folks should let you know what is on their "wish list" (not that they already haven't) which is why I made this a forum post. As I've said before - truly sharing a cockpit to divide the responsibilities (e.g. a realisti...

Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.2.3
Peter: We tested the new features related to the autopilot. AP Engaged, Nav, Hdg and Alt lights all translated correctly. An interesting phenomenon - if you turn over Other controls the joining pilot can engage the AP but not disengage it by clicking the AP Engage button again. Others could be activ...

I just tried connecting - can do it by entering flybywires.hopto.org directly into the 'Join' box and by selecting FlyByWires 16 in the Hub list.
