Peter,
This a red herring and my fault it's looking for the sim which is not on my laptop, I will try on my FS PC.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: JoinFS is not opening
My final 2 cents.
I have found with the 3.2.1 2020 version it takes approximately 70 seconds for the UI to appear and about 130 seconds (on my laptop) for the UI to become accessible then it seems ok.

Re: JoinFS is not opening
OK, ditch the above, it ran once and seemed to leave a process running and wouldn't restart thereafter. Very curious.

Re: JoinFS is not opening
@Peter,
I tried to install the FSX version and it gave a warning that .NET Framework 2 was required, so I downloaded it from Microsoft and tried again and the FSX version did not run, tried FS2020 again and still dead.
/joe
BTW. I have the same problem on my Win 11 laptop which is on 21H2 as well. :/

Re: JoinFS is not opening
Hi Peter,
Same problem here.
I am using Windows 11 Pro, there have been a few updates including 21H2 which I installed, seems like a coincidence?

Prepar3d V4 compatibility
Hi Peter,
I have seen an unsubstantiated report that JoinFS is already compatible with P3Dv4, can you confirm this?
Cheers.

Re: Scan for models problem in 1.1.10?
Thanks Peter,
We have been using 1.1.4 stable version for some time, so I guess I have some catching up to do!
Happy BST.. it's lovely outside, we shouldn't be sat in front or our PC's!

Scan for models problem in 1.1.10?
Hi Peter,
When using the scan for models option, JoinFS is asking me to start the sim, when I start the sim the message still appears. I have rolled back to 1.1.4 and I can scan for aircraft without the sim being active.
Is it just me?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: .NET Framework exception (Resolved)
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your very quick response
I found the problem to be Simconnect, as this may be useful for others I navigated to my prepar3d/dist folder and installed all the simconnect modules and problem solved.
I've marked as resolved
Regards
Joe

Re: Odd port numbers in Network View.
Hi Peter, Thanks for your prompt explanation, every bit of information helps! I think it could be a router issue, we have been flying direct IP multiplayer for years via FSX and have all the recommended ports open. The two of us that were having problems have IPv6 addressing and were forcing (for co...

Odd port numbers in Network View.
Hi Peter, First things first, many thanks for a great utility, I regularly fly with 5 or 6 people and this product is working very well for us. ;) We were having some issues connecting yesterday in that we could only connect to some IP addresses and not others. I know that is a network issue and not...
