In case anyone else is experiencing these kind of connection problems, rmaure06 and I have managed to find a work around.
Uninstall JoinFS from Windows.
Install an older version such as v2.1.3.
Then install the latest version.
Not sure why that fixed it, but it worked.

Re: Unhandled Exception Error- "The Cloud file provider is not running"
I have located the piece of code where the problem is occurring. I will put something in place so that more information about the file being accessed is shown. This will be in v2.2.2 which will be out as a test release sometime in the next week or so. Another item I notice when I do try to join a hu...

Re: Unhandled Exception Error- "The Cloud file provider is not running"
Which application is actually reporting this error? Is it JoinFS or P3D? If it is JoinFS do you get a call trace displayed in the window?

Re: Illegal characters by repaint authors
Hi Roman,
a very belated fix I know, but I've found a way of handling the long hythen in the aircraft names, so this aircraft should now work in v2.2.1.

Re: Scan for Models problem
Well done, Jorge. So you are basically saying that JoinFS does not search into shortcut/link folders. I think I should be able to fix that.
Thanks for persisting and finding the cause of the problem.

Hi Jorge, have you tried using the additional folders option to add the folders where the aircraft actually reside?

Re: Scan for Models problem
The only reason that it finds model when you tick the add-ons is because those are added automatically and not actually scanned from the file system. So basically it it not finding any of the models in your packages folder. Have you tried using the 'Browse' button in the scan window to choose the pa...

Re: Scan for Models problem
Hi Jorge, Are you using the correct packages folder? In my 'Flight Simulator Packages' folder I have two folders, 'Community' and 'Official'. If you do a scan with that packages folder set at the top of the window then it should find quite a few aircraft. You do not need to add 'Community' to 'Other...

Hi,
There are different versions of SimConnect. But, yes, you can install that one since it works with JoinFS.

Re: Missing Aircraft with X-Plane and Little Nav Map
Something weird going on with version numbers. If I download the latest (page doesn't tell you which version that is) and I look at the Details page in File Properties it claims to be 2.1.15 yet when it runs it states it's version 2.1.3 :? Do we need the latest test version therefore to see this fi...
