make sure you have AI planes on so you can see your friend
check the distances in settings. I have active reach on 300m and follow distance at 20m. if they are set to narrow, you won't see your partner

Just out of curiosity,

if I make multplie overdubbed recordings to make a formation flight,
then go online with it in joinFS
will other joinfs users see only my plane or the recorded planes too?

I confirm version 3.1.0 playback and overdub works

normaly I'm around 20-30 fps

I believe it might eventually have to do with the xplane framerate itself. that F16 takes a few fps

I never had a smooth connection, but was surprized to see the lag in my own recording on my pc without connecting to anyone.

no, jittery too

so I read p3D and fsx require 35fps max to prevent jitter/lag...

what about Xplane?
I recorded and get extreme lag/jitter/backward-forward shooting planes.

just went back to version .6 of joinFS and there it works, so it's something in the newest version

as the title says joinfs stops when starting playback. I record a flight to make a formation by replaying, but when I hit play in the recorder, joinfs closes.

any ideas?
