Shared Cockpit?

Has anyone successfully used shared cockpit either MSFS-MSFS or MSFS-X-Plane and had synced gauges/model/art?

Which version(s) were you using.

Thanks!

Re: X-Plane update.

Peter, We created files to sync every dataref (and played with several that only synced the 6 pack or even single instruments) Never was able to get it to work properly. The last issue, was the person joining the cockpit was not relocated to the location of the shared cockpit aircraft. Their aircraf...

Re: X-Plane update.

I do.. The method you discovered/had been using before reverting was working stellarly.... In fact we are still using it across all sims... I was wondering would the latest versions for MSFS work with the old version for XP JoinFS 3.1.4T As usual, XP-XP shared cockpit doesn't really work well even w...

Re: Cant Connect to XP11

It isn't enough to just have x-plane running. You need to choose a flight config (aircraft/location/etc) and enter the flight. Once in the cockpit it will connect (or click on SIMULATOR)

Re: Thank you, Peter

Peter,
That would be a fantastic addition to an already fantastic (an incredibly smooth flying) system!

Keep up the amazing work!

And - Merry Christmas!

Re: Uncertain times for JoinFS

Peter,
If you already have a Google Adsense account, simply create a Blog (blogger or similar) link to the forum messages to announce and do your changelogs and other information on that. it will still generate ad revenue.

Re: Need help diagnosing "disappearing aircraft"

We have found (after MANY hours of testing!) that if someone is missing, disconnecting JoinFS from their sim and reconnecting usually allows them to reappear.

YMMV

Re: X-plane Reporting wrong Original and Subsititute

Peter, this behavior just started. It used to report the correct name for all aircraft. This is ODD. The path for the Jet Ranger we were flying is: C:\SIM\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Helicopters\Bell 206 Jetranger III The path for the Cowan Simulations Bell 222B is: C:\SIM\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Helicopters\Co...

Re: X-plane Reporting wrong Original and Subsititute

Peter, Yes. It displays Cowan Simulations Bell 222B - Jetranger but the matching is correct. I started with 1.5.3 BETA but it does it when I switch to 1.5.1 Release as well. Also, we are seeing double cockpits in shared cockpit and they never sync up...?? Is there a trick to the sequencing for enter...

Mine is showing as the WRONG one, weirdly so (Cowan Simulations Bell222B - Jetranger) which doesnt exist I do have the Cowan 222B AND several Jetrangers.... He is seeing the correct name on his end and I see him as the s...

Re: Shared Cockpit in xplane 11

Peter,
Most of the time I observe this behavior. We begin a shared cockpit session and see a "doubled" aircraft. Once moving one of them falls behind. Like...taxi a bit and it's behind you.

It IS weird though. X-plane to x-plane.

Random Port???

Today, for the first time, we connected 5 people with JoinFS all using x-plane. Each one was using the default port 6112. The last person kept connecting with a different port each time. We were able to see him, but he could not see us. Likely because we were receiving from him at the correct port a...

Does the x-plane plugin have to be updated with 1.50 or Beta 1.51?
