Thank you for the reply,

I have downloaded the V1.5 file and installed it, I will only get traffic online later tonight again, test and report back as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support thus far.

Good morning,

I have tried the new file but is till get the traffic about 65nm north west of where they should be. My sector files are 100% fine with VATSIM

I am also able to see Euroscope change the aircraft altitudes as they fly but there is no motion. In other words the aircraft always remain in the same position.

If it works for you I must be doing something wrong. I just don't know what it could be, yet.

That does sound very strange.
If the altitude changes then that's showing that the updates are getting through.

Do you get the message from JoinFS in Euroscope when you first connect?

Is the traffic you are viewing only on the JoinFS network or are they connected to VATSIM at the same time?

Which JoinFS hub do you normally connect too?

Yes, I do get the JoinFS message in Euroscope when I first connect

The traffic is only on JoinFS not VATSIM

I made the hub called SA Flight Simmers

I will gladly try help where I am able to.

Ok the program I wrote seems to be doing what I've told it too, so that's ok.

I would UNTICK Euroscope as that is not needed with this version.

And try with Xplane UNTICKED with only Euroscope open.

ATC mode also doesn't need to be ticked, but I do tick it to show I am an active ATC.

Thank you for the reply,

I changed to the recommended settings and it still does almost the same thing.
Altitude and speed changes but not location (This time the aircraft is SE of the airfield and while there were 2 I only saw 1).
The aircraft still remains in the same place the whole time.

The only other thing that changes is that the moment the aircraft takes off, the leader line appears but only point in one direction and never any other
https://prnt.sc/hrbhyw

Now to eliminate issues with my PC and the current VATSIM configuration I am going to set-up a test VM on my PC. This should give me a clean test environment so i will report back after testing this again.

Is it possible to share your sector file that I may test with it?

I'm using the UK sector file available from VATSIM UK.

If you give me your hub address I'll connect and see if I can get the same issues.

This is the HUB as mentioned above.
Best time to get traffic is after 1700z or we can arrange a test together and i will help where I am able to.
I will go look for the sector file you mentioned

Thanks in advance

We want to use euroscope wiht ioinFS. Euroscope gives a connection with joinFS but we do not see any aircraft. We are following the instruction in the JFSD program.
Is it necessary that euroscope in installed op the same PC as the flightsim ???
Whe are now running Euroscope om a separate PC.

I've never tried it on a seperate PC although it should be possible as long as port 6809 is open.

The console app (JFSD) will need to run on the same pc as JoinFS.

I might need to edit the code to allow Euroscope from another PC, so I would run all programs on the same pc at the moment.

Flight SIM doesn't need to be open, but will cause no problems if it is.

For those looking for something a little more user friendly I've just updated the first page with a GUI version.

This works best with Global Whazzup Users UNTICKED.
Let me know if it's useful.

ESJFS2018 Version 1.6.0.1 is now available.
The LATEST VERSION is HERE!
This version will allow you to get data from the JoinFS Whazzup or from FSX/P3D directly.

Flight Plans can be updated every 15mins or manually on button click.

No need to install anything, just open the app and connect Euroscope to localhost.

If you have connected successfully, the app will tell you and a message will appear in Euroscope.

If you use FSX/P3D feature then anything that shows in your sim will be displayed on Euroscope (missiles etc are untested).

Let me know how it works.

Roo, I tried to execute it but it failed to complete and show the user interface. I then tried to run the previous version and it had an exception as the socket was in use. I rebooted and the previous version ran fine, so the new version got as far as opening the port, but for some reason failed on my PC after that without any error messages. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

That sounds like the new version opened but didn't show the GUI.

Then when you tried the old version, the new version was still running in the background, but you wouldn't know as the GUI wasn't showing.

I'll update it a some point to check and close any existing connections.

If you want to try the new version....

Open it as you did.
If it doesn't show, connect Euroscope anyway and it should then appear.

I can't seem to replicate the issue you had Cessna.

I'll keep looking, but can you let me know if it happens again.

Thanks Roo, I tried again using your instructions and got the same result, no UI and Euroscope froze when trying to connect. I checked the Task Manager and ESJS2018 wasn't present as an app. This PC has .Net Framework 4.7.1 installed, assuming it is a .net app

I then tried on my Flight Sim computer and when I tried to execute ESJS2018, I immediately got an error window
ESJS2018 has stopped working
- A problem caused the program to stop working, Please close the program

My Sim PC also has .Net framework 4.7.1 installed
