Source code for the X-Plane plugin?

I've been using JoinFS with FSX for a while now and I'm loving it. But I mainly fly on X-Plane on Linux, and after looking around a bit, I've got the client running through Wine. From my understanding, though, there's no Linux build for the plugin and Peter doesn't intend on creating one - is the source code available so I could try building it myself?

AFAIK the source code for the Xplane plugin is not available.
