No Models

Post by USNVA_02 »

when using P3D v4 and scan for models, i'm getting the error..."no models found" I made sure that it pointed to my p3dv4 folder when i do the scan
I also have p3dv3.44 but there is no issue with that 1....any ideas why it's not seeing any of my p3dv4 aircraft?

I know this may sound silly but can you confirm the path to your P3DV4 installation? Is it in C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\... or somewhere else e.g. (C:\)?
Also, is the Scan check box beside Airplanes ticked?

Cheers

Sorry, would that be Yes to C:\Program Files or to somewhere outside the Program Files folder?

I have both v3 & v4 located in F drive... and only those programs, nothing else
the path for v4 is F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

found the problem, my deflault A321 had shortcuts instead of file folders, once i placed it in a temp folder and re-scanned, the models showed up
