X-Plane Plugin

Hi there,

I installed the plugin on X-Plane 11 and it is not appearing in my plugins folder (not sure if it needs to). The JoinFS program is not recognizing the X-Plane sim either (the button is red and only turns orange when I click it). How can I connect X-Plane to the program?

Hi Jake,

did you follow the instructions here, http://pmem.uk/joinfs/manual.html#xplane?

Did you click on the Install Plugin button in the settings and specify the root X-Plane folder?

Yep, I followed all of the instructions. Do I need to put anything in the "IP address" box in settings? I also tried disabling XSquawkbox and that didn't help either.

I fixed it. Not sure what happened, but it randomly started connecting.

Glad it's working. It could be that something required a restart. Or you were in the X-Plane menu rather that active flight?
