Ver 3.2.11 - MSFS
I updated my hub to use the latest FSX version and also update my test systems to use the version suited for the sim running on those PC's. I was hoping for some reduction or removal of what I call the jittery planes. When I am viewing multiplayer aircraft from FSX or P3d many of them are like jitte...

Re: JoinFS Installer Issues
Finally got it resolved. I had to revert to using the Microsoft pgm fixer https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d That did find issues, resolve them and the removed the pgm from the system. I was ...

Re: JoinFS Installer Issues
We shall try a that and perhaps use something like CCleaner if all else fails. The 3.1.6 version is still installed.

Re: JoinFS Installer Issues
-Antivirus turned off -UAC disabled -New installer file was put in a new folder on a different drive with full permissions Also tried to install in a non-MS folder (outside of Program Files; e.g C:\JoinFS). Always the same result. Is it possible, as I wondered earlier, that we need to get the origin...

JoinFS Installer Issues
I have been trying to assist a friend with a problem that he has run into of late. When he tries to install a new version the installer is very unhappy about things and refuses to play. I tried to remove the app using Control Panel but it always seem to go back to the missing file issue in the Edge ...

3.2.7 Server Version - Whazzup & Settings
I tried the new server version today. It failed to use the settings from previous installs unlike the previous versions. As such the normal Hub ID changed and I had to manually add the details. It failed to populate the whazzup.txt file when a client connected. I closed it and then used the updated ...

3.2.4 Server Version Whazzup
I tried the Server version today. I use the whazzup file as a source for my local map. It started ok and clients could connect but when I checked the whazzup.txt file in AppData/Local/JoinFS there were no clients. I then removed the server version and installed the FSX 3.2.4 version and then the cli...

New Multiple Sim Versions of JoinFS
Once again Peter, Many thanks for your continuing efforts to improve JoinFS; however, with this most recent iteration I am afraid that a wrench has been thrown at many users. While it is true that some users may find it quite easy to migrate their user settings to another install there are likely ma...

Re: FS2020 Airplane flies sideways with SU6
Greetings Peter, I was awaiting 3.1.4 and you have kindly made it available. Today I ran a rather full test with my setup; 1 hub PC, P3Dv5.3 PC, FSX-SE PC, MSFS PC. All aircraft appeared as positioned at start. Re-orienting one aircraft appeared correctly on all running sims. I then re-ran the test ...

Re: Unable to see aircraft
Very sorry.. Should have replied to the post in "FS2020 Airplane flies sideways with SU6" Perhaps an admin can move t his reply? My Report for today: Our group used V3.1.3 today on a group flight with FSX-SE/P3Dv4/MSFS-SU7. I can say that things have improved considerably. There do remain...

Re: Whazzup issue
Just wanted to chime in that I also have seen this with my hub. The clients side do create whazzup files that have the details but the hub does not seem to understand them or the data is not received; hence, the whazzup file on the hub has no clients. I changed back to 3.08 and the hub now does have...

Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
I just tried v 3.0.7 on client and hub.
No change.
I had to use the file flight plan option in client side Aircraft to get it to update.

Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
I did find some time today to test "File Flight Plan..." option. First I started MSFS with no plan and connected to my normal 'hub'. I then opened Aircraft and selected the file flight plan option. I made an entry and accepted. I then turned to my hub and saw that there was now a DEP/ARR a...

Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
Thanks for the confirmation. I shall try what you have asked with and without a loaded fight plan. It may not be until Friday as MSFS SU5 is taking much of my free time to sort.

Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
I am somewhat confused by the request. Are you suggesting that on system 1 that shows the correct values in whazzup that I change the joinfs values to be the same DEP/ARR to see if they then somehow propagate to the remote system2 ? Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
Update: Tried a few things today. 1. I disabled hub mode on my stand-alone PC that is used for multi-connect. 1a. Made sure that both client and target were using 3.0.6 1b. Created a numbered session to connect to on the hub PC. 1c. The client when connected had a whazzup file that contained the mod...

Re: Whazzup Issue with Ver 3
Greetings Peter, I tried Ver 3.0.6 today on my client PC and my hub. Things are look better but not showing what I expected. Was it something I did or did not do this time? The flight plan is not showing up on the hub The website map now shows the model but no flight plan: CyberpowerPC-JoinFS-Map-30...
