BOAT "ON GROUND" or "ON LAND" ?
Hi Peter, using (C:ITrafficInfo:Filter) xml custom variables and setting filter as TRAFFIC_FILTER_AIRCRAFT or'ed with TRAFFIC_FILTER_ON_GROUND (9) it happens that ground traffic is rendered but not detected by C:ITrafficInfo in FSX/P3D the filter works correctly. Odd that if you set the filter as TR...

Re: Some questions
Do you mean that an user that connect in P3D MP to a server that is connected also to JoinFS is able to see also JoinFS players ? That's should be cool :-) will make some tests /Mario EDIT : I have made some test mixing single and muliplayer: Let's consider: - player A, P3D runs in single player mod...

Re: Some questions
Hi Peter, some good news, we could make a pretty good session with 5 players, monitor did not show any problem except one or two simconnect execption 3. Also we could see correctly other's external stores, not stable however, sometime we can see sometime we don't, could not understand when and why. ...

Re: Some questions

Our network bandwidth ar usuallly above 5 Mb ingoing but limited in out going, generally not more than 1...

Some questions
Hi Peter, we at VAAFSE still continue to have several problems with JoinFS, not all players can see one each others, often players have erratic behaviour jumping a lot into air, rarely we can see one each other correctly.. Since i know that other users do not report such problems i'm trying to under...

Re: (A:ATC FLIGHT NUMBER,string) as owner ?
Hi Mario, I think I'm using (A:ATC ID, string) for the nickname, and the ATC FLIGHT NUMBER is blanks at the moment, I think. Yes, I can broadcast the PAYLOAD STATION WEIGHT. Which indices would you like to be broadcast? Peter Hi Peter, i see the JoinFS assigned nickname into "Owner" colum...

(A:ATC FLIGHT NUMBER,string) as owner ?
Hi Peter, i can see you are using (A:ATC FLIGHT NUMBER,string) to broadcast "Owner" (aka nickname) into the Net. Good move, our vACMI uses it to mantain ID unicity, may i assume you won't change it in the future ? Tia /Mario BTW: May be you can make a steady feature to broadcast(A:PAYLOAD ...

No,
i guess they won't be rendered at all, unless you use "autobroadcast", but not sure what i'm saying.

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
Just curious as I'm not a user of any of the fighter sims etc. What does your average default FSX pilot see these weapons as when they are auto broadcast in JFS? The default model they have set? If so do these weapons/default models expire on impact? Hi, as far dropped bomb most probably he does se...

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
thanks a lotPeter wrote:Hi Mario,
In the latest test version 1.1.4 it now broadcasts all models that start with "VRS_", "FSXatWar" and "VACMI". So you no longer need to use the auto-broadcast option if you were using that.
Best regards,
Peter

Re: PAYLOAD STATION WEIGHT propagated ?
Hi Mario, What makes you think that that variable is being propagated? I'll need to do a bit of research on these .mdl variables, it's all a bit new to me I'm afraid. Peter Hi Peter, take a look at this piece of xml code contained into our Tornado .mdl file, a bit counter intuitive since is in RPN,...

PAYLOAD STATION WEIGHT propagated ?
Hi Peter,
It seems that JoinFS is able to propagate (A:PAYLOAD STATION WEIGHT, Pounds) among the net.
Is that true for all stations enumerated in aircraft.cfg ?
If true is a great news and can completely solve the IS USER SIM issue.

WHEN JoinFS site is down...
Hi Peter,
today http://pmem.uk was down for a while, during this period all JoinFS clients crashed, impossible to run it without site up.
It seems that program badly crashes if it does not find the site up (may be when checks user version).
It is intentionally?

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
I'm going to add something similar to the Edit Model Matching window, called Edit Broadcasts. You'll be able to select an item or specify the prefix of a groups of items that you want to broadcast. For example, adding "FSXatWar" will hopefully cover every aircraft and object in the FSX@Wa...

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
Thanks, Mario, that makes sense. If you cross reference this page with IS USER SIM, https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc526981.aspx , it says that this variable can not be set with SimConnect, so it is unlikely that I can change this value directly after creating the object, unless you know ...

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
Hi Mario, could you clarify what the .mdl is, are you talking about the .mdl file that comes with aircraft add-ons for the 3D model? Is there a website that has details about the code that you're referring to? It's completely new to me. And are you just talking about weapon object variables? Thanks...

Re: VERSION 1.0.21 FRAME DROP
Hi Mario, The IS USER SIM variable is already set by the simulator. So for each person in the session their aircraft is already marked as IS USER SIM.
