joinFS should support the usage of CSLs to display external traffic.
Currently, only aircraft installed locally will be displayed correctly; types not installed have to be matched to something "similar".
That's one way to deal with the numerous types of aircraft out there. However, a better approach would be to use already available CSLs like the BlueBell package for display. Other traffic plugins like Livetraffic,XMTP2 Remote, xpilot or PilotEdge support CSLs for a reason.
I - and probably some more joinFS users - would appreciate if that issue would be implemented in a future update to joinFS.
Support of CSL packages
Re: Support of CSL packages
It is already supported in the latest JoinFS. Put your CSL objects in the folder <x-plane>\Resources\plugins\JoinFS\Resources\CSL\, or change the folder location in the Scan For Models window when scanning.

Ok, the version I have running is 3.2.13. Is that the latest version?

Re: Support of CSL packages
Thanks. The CSLs are recognized on startup. Works good.
