Weird startup window

When I start JoinFS I get a window with the message: 'Can't find file D:\Users\Gie\Documents\JoinFS-FS2020.' How to solve?

No. If I make the folder myself, I get the message: can't find file D:\Users\Gie\Ducuments\JoinFS-FS2020\Variables

Have you looked in the monitor window to see if there are any other messages before that. Perhaps cut and paste the output here.

Is your documents folder actually located on the D drive?

It looks like it might not be writable for some reason. You could try running JoinFS as Administrator.
