It would be nice if you could consider a way to set markers in the recording of a flight made by the lead pilot which I will call the “phantom”.
The markers would be set at strategic points to announce turns ascents, descents loops, smoke, and other maneuvers along the flight by inserting small audio clips at the marker positions.
In this way, the flight could be shared among the pilots. They could use that flight to practice and hone their formation flying. It would be like virtually having the lead pilot

Excellent idea! I have plans to make significant improvements to the recorder and editing capabilities later this year, and I really like this idea because it aids practice and tuition, which is an area that I think JoinFS could excel in.
