JoinFS Versions 3.1.5 - 3.2.1 Causing X-Plane To Freeze

Post by JazzFunk »

Hi Peter,

Since version 3.1.4, JoinFS causes X-Plane to freeze every time an additional user joins the session. It is fine if I connect and say there are (x) number of users connected and no more ever connect but when (x + 1) happens, X-Plane just freezes. Checking task manager it actually sends X-Plane to around 97% CPU utilisation and the only option is to kill the X-Plane task. It seems strange that it happens on all versions post 3.1.4. Any ideas?

Kind Regards,

Ted.

Hi Ted,

There are several posts about this already. :) Please see this post for an update on the situation. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1288

You could temporarily go back to version 3.1.4 for now. Install it after uninstalling the old "JoinFS" first. You can get that version here https://joinfs.net/archive.html
