If I open JoinFS and then open MSFS, when I click simulator JoinFS crashes

If I try launching JoinFS when MSFS is already started JoinFS will not open

MSFS is upto date and it's a fresh install of JoinFS

No other programs like discord etc running, any ideas?

Try running JoinFS first, open the monitor window, click save to log file. Then connect to MSFS so that it crashes. Run JoinFS again and view the log file to see if there are any error message before it crashes.

Also, have you installed SimConnect from here, https://joinfs.net/SimConnect.msi

Also it seems to only install 3.0.7 when downloading fresh from the site

Looks like it stops during the model scan. Have you tried going to the JoinFS settings, disabling the 'Scan on connection' option. Then connect to the sim. If that works then do a manual scan from the menu, checking the options and folders are correct.
