Why not a "version number" in joinFs installation files?

Post by I-BONG »

Hi Peter,
why you didn't provide a version number in the "joinFs.msi" installation file ?
It can be helpfull also to add this info in the installation wiizar.

Please,
add this in your new release :-)

Attilio

Hi,

The version you are downloading is shown in the release notes on the download page.

The download archive contains previous versions should you need them.

And I will make sure I update the archive at the same time as a main release. That way you will always be able to access 'JoinFS-x.x.x.msi' from the archive page as soon as it is released.

not so sure Peter...in the main page https://pmem.uk/joinfs/index.html we have no info regarding version number...and when I click to "download JoinFs" button, no info about version (and in the -msi file name).

Just click on Release Notes on the left panel and it will show you the current version.
