Prepar3d v4 and xplane 11 not syncing parameters

Hi, I have prepar3dv4 and my friend has xplane11
He is flying say at 1000ft altitude, but from my perspective its showing he is inside ground
Is it because xplane and prepar3d have different maps? Or am I doing something wrong?

(tested with 2 prepar3d clients and it works without issues. xplane and prepar3d together has the above issue)

Yes, it's likely due to the terrain difference, however 1000ft sounds like quite a big difference. I would have thought a variation of 1 - 100ft would be the norm. Try toggling the Elevation Correction option in the JoinFS settings and see if that makes a difference. If enabled it ought to cure the problem.
