The config is annoying as that code was the same as the original Simcom X.

If you get the config error again, can you copy and paste it?

I believe the whazzup.txt file should be in the JOINFS-CONSOLE directory.

But Linux is great..
You can simply run the command below to find it.

The best way to hear the beep is to transmit for more than 30seconds. Or go into programfiles(x86)/simcomx/sounds/beep.wav And exactly right with the distance. Yup. I can confirm that the microphones don't correspond to the names shown in the mic selection.

Speakers seem fine.

I'm working on it now to correct it, so far no idea why.

In the meantime selecting the mic you don't want should work.

Ok I'll look at the sound devices shortly. That would explain why Tony can't send audio too.
