Re: JoinFS arrives on the Raspberry Pi
....but the sim does not appear to render the other traffics, not in the viewscreen, not in the map, not in LittleNavMap. In the last two I can see my plane, as in JoinFSMap, but no the other traffics which are in the vicinity. Now a I do not know why...... :( Did you check the X-Plane Log.txt for ...

Re: JoinFS arrives on the Raspberry Pi
Thanks for posting an update. I was struggling here to get a Linux installation set up that can run X-Plane, but it seems that you found the main issue. That was indeed an oversight. With JoinFS-XPLANE the Doc8643.txt and other files get installed to the CSL folder when you install the plugin from t...

Re: JoinFS arrives on the Raspberry Pi
Looks like the recent addition of XPMP2 is not being compiled correctly for linux then. I will have to install X-Plane 11 on linux in order to investigate it. Will get back to you.

Volunteer required (macOS)
Hi all,
Looking for someone with access to macOS to see if JoinFS-CONSOLE runs on their Mac hardware.
For X-Plane, JoinFS currently only builds win.xpl and lin.xpl plugins. I will see if it is possible to cross compile for macOS to create a mac.xpl.

JoinFS arrives on the Raspberry Pi
Hi all, It was always the hope that one day JoinFS would make it to the Raspberry Pi and other small single board computers which provide a very low power-consumption solution to running 24/7 online services such as a JoinFS hub. That day has finally arrived. 8-) The new version available is JoinFS-...

Re: VR Jitter
That 30fps thing also affects JoinFS in FSX and P3D, but as you say MSFS doesn't have that problem. I have VR here so I will take a look.

Re: VR Jitter
Do you think the actual movement is worse or is it just the effect of VR and the aspect ratio?

Re: Call signs only
At some point in future I might be able to improve the auto generated CSL. Getting it to work was mostly down to guesswork because I really struggled to find any documentation on the X-Plane aircraft file formats. If I eventually find out exactly how they work then I should be able to improve it. Bu...

Re: Call signs only
Hi Marc,
It's quite difficult to convert these model with complete accuracy. I would suggest for now finding some CSL objects that are suitable to substitute with. You should be able to find some CSL that is close to the model you are after.

Re: showing tail boom/ drogue in recorded flights
Interesting. Did you definitely add 'INJECTED' at the end of the line, with two separators before it '...position||INJECTED' ?

Re: Which Version for standalone Server ?
Our Linux Server is a real "Server" without a desktop enviroment. I tried "wine" on my home ubuntu and the installation nearly trashed my computer. Achim I have just migrated JoinFS-SERVER to .NET 6.0 and it's looking good so hopefully there will be a native linux JoinFS ...

Re: showing tail boom/ drogue in recorded flights
You should make those changes before recording the KC10, otherwise the data will not be recorded into the save file. Maybe the light is just getting recorded separately. Unless you can somehow find out exactly which variables are being used for the KC10 model then it will be a bit of guesswork. Mayb...

Re: showing tail boom/ drogue in recorded flights
If you can find out which simulator variable it is associated with then you should be able to get it working. In the JoinFS aircraft window, select the KC10, right click and select Assign Variables. You should see a list with Plane.txt and QuadTurbine.txt. You could try adding your own custom text f...

Re: JoinFS "Not Connected"
If you installed from CD, did you also find and apply the two FSX service packs? I am fairly sure that you need to upgrade to service pack 2 for everything to work properly.
