Re: Can not get to work on either PC....

I've used a mobile network to test my hub in the past, one thing i have noticed is there can be a quite a delay with aircraft showing up. Also in "users" right click and make sure you allow everyone mutiple object if you want to see AI. AI is now turned of as default

Re: Can not get to work on either PC....

I would be inclined to say its a port forwarding problem if you can't see it via your mobile connection.

Re: Can not get to work on either PC....

When connecting to a host on the same network you need to use the local Ip address ( i.e 192.168.0.xx)of the hosting Pc. Using the hub list or external IP to connect will result in issues you are seeing. Regarding Port forwarding, use UDP only. Using TCP and UDP doesn't work

Re: Version 34 Stable

Hi Matt,

This relates the port forwarding settings within your router. I would advise try searching on youtube how setup forwarding for your specific router, as they are all slightly different how to access the security settings.

Have tried right clicking the user list and selecting "allow everyone multiple objects"?

Re: Version 34 Stable

No UDP only, using TCP/UPD will cause connection problems. I speak from experience :)

Re: Ways On Creating Server

I don't use the Raspberry PI, I've been using something similar called LattePanda https://www.lattepanda.com/. It's been running Joinfs 24/7 for the last 18 months flawlessly. Only things i've added is a fan and a freeware program called Shutter lite which reboots it every 24 hours. My setup cost me...

Re: 1.4.20 Aircraft not broadcasting

Thanks for the quick reply,

If you can add the aircraft info that would be great, but if its going to possibly cause problems in the future then i can live without it.

thanks again

1.4.20 Aircraft not broadcasting

Hi Peter I've been running a hub on a dedication pc which is on the same network as my sim pc for some time, since 1.4.20 I've noticed the hub isn't picking up my aircraft. I've rolled back the sim client to 1.4.18 and all seems to be working ok, then reinstalled 1.4.20 and it not broadcasting again...

Re: Email / text messages

Might be useful if the current COMS in JFS could broadcast direct messages within the sim using the in game ticker tape across the top of the screen. I think FShost use to have something similar. In its current format users only can see the messages if they open the coms menu.

Re: Engine cut v1.4.3

I've personally witnessed the engine cut problem on Fscloud on a live stream and heard it has happened on Vpilot too, so it appears its not just unique to Joinfs. I've been using 3rd party AI both freeware and payware since day one of using JFS which is why i've never experienced the engine cut issu...

Re: Same IP

To add to what Peter said, when connecting a second instance of joinfs on the same IP, you won't see your hub in the hub list. I've spent many hours trying to find my own hub in the list :) . If i want to check it's connected and in the hub list, i connect my laptop briefly to a mobile hotspot using...
