It wasn't meant as critical, more a 'Linux people, you need these two things for it to work'. Though winetricks is not working for that runtime at the moment which is a bit irritating. Running the .EXE directly doesn't seem to work. Such is life ; the alternative is developing in Windows which does ...

Seems to work great.
Except for two problems both easy fixes :
(1) you have to install the 2005 runtime (vcrun2005 in winetricks) for at least MSVCR80.DLL
(2) It seems to require SimConnect.dll to be in the JoinFS dictionary even if you are using X-Plane.
