You can run JoinFS under wine.

Our Linux Server is a real "Server" without a desktop enviroment.
I tried "wine" on my home ubuntu and the installation nearly trashed my computer.

I think I made too many updates at a time. Problem was the new Nvidia driver (not JoinFS) , that I installed at the same day. Sorry....

since Version 3.2.4 my MSFS crash short after connecting to joinfs. It may be the Simupdate 8.(All community Addons disabled)
Where can I find older Versions (3.2.x). In the Archive I can only find 3.1.4 and older.

Hi,
with V3.1.7 there are different Versions for each Simulator.
Which Version should we use as standalone JoinFS Server ? No simulator. Only a Host directly connected to the internet.

BTW: It would be wonderful, if we had a standalone Server-Version for linux...

JoinFS connects to 152.199.19.161 and 20.199.120.182 with https. Bandwith 15-20 MBit/s
Joining Clients for a Session needs 2-5 Minutes to connect. You can stop JoinFS only via Taskmanager (kill)

JoinFS on a virtual W10 System connected direct to the Internet running in HUB-Mode sometimes produce heavy Traffic (30mbit in 15Mbit out) with no connected clients for a few hours. Traffic stops, when I stop JoinFS. Is it a worm or spam relay ?

We fly a mixed session with P3DV4 and FS2020. The P3D people see the FS2020 airplanes fly and roll in the right direction, the FS2020 people see all other airplanes in the wrong (fixed) direction. Hi, after updating the FS2020 to SU6, the flightdirection is not longer transfered via JoinFS 3.1.2. We tested with 6 Planes and Helicopter and Position was correct but the direction of the Plane was static. A connected "Littel NavMap" also show the wrong direction of the remote Aircrafts....

I use P3DV4.1 and tested JoinFS with a Friend who use X-Plane. I can see him, but he can not see me. He see my Aircraft in the List with direction and distance, but the Aircraft-Entry is orange.
Any Idea ??
