IVAO aircraft?

Peter,

Lastr night we flew with 3 pilots (all B737) via the IVAO network and connected also via JoinFS.
Now 1 of the pilots got an unknown aircraft on his FSTramp window and this was also visible in the aircraft view.
This pilot was not connected to our server and was only visible for that 1 pilot.

Please can you explain this?

Hi Jos,

Are you referring to IBE205? There is an '(A)' after the owner which indicates that this is an AI aircraft belonging to PH-GJH. They must have had their FSX settings configured to include some AI traffic.

If they had clicked the Broadcast option for that aircraft then you would all have seen it.

Hope that helps,
Peter

Hi Jos,

May i ask you a question? Are you having any issues of seeing ghost aircraft when you are connected to IVAO. We seem to be running into that problem. Any suggestions on this?

Thanks
Wood

Hi Wood,

Yes, sometimes we still see IVAO aircrafts when we are flying on IVAO network and also connected via JoinFS.
Still have no solution.

Regards,
Jos

Hi Jos

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you confirm for me that you see a ghost aircraft attached to every connected client or is it random?

Wood
