hello ive just got join fs, my sim is open but on joinfs simulator is highlighted orange?

which simulator are you using?
If it's Microsoft Flight Simulator related you need to install the correct version of SimConnect. Try this, https://pmem.uk/joinfs/SimConnect.msi
If it's X-Plane you need to install the plugin from the JoinFS Settings window, and make sure you enter a flight before connecting.
