Running Windows 10 machine that has just been re-installed. I cannot see any hubs in the public hub section. Running Avast Premium Security but JoinFS added as an exception / allowed program. Previously, before formatting the machine, JoinFS worked fine.Ideas?

Are you running JoinFS 1.5.12?

What happens if you join 'aviator.digitalthemepark.com'? Does it join, and do you then get a list of hubs?

Thanks Pete - do I join that URL from JoinFS? so enter the url in the join section? If so then nothing happens - the network button stays yellow

It looks like JoinFS has no access to the internet. Is it being blocked by your firewall? Usually Windows will ask you when you first run JoinFS whether to allow it through the firewall. Do you know how to check the firewall?

Opened Windows firewall, uninstalled Avast - still no luck

Click on the bottom left of the screen to show the Windows menu.
Choose Settings
Choose Network And Internet
Choose Firewall
Choose Allow An App Through The Firewall
Find JoinFS in the list
Make sure Private is ticked
Click Ok.

Hopefully that will work.

In JoinFS, open File|Monitor and see what messages appear.

Are you able to access the internet on that machine?

Might be a DNS problem. What happens if you try to join "162.248.88.180" ?

What if you click Create, does the network button go green?

That's strange, I'm sure I created a permanent one last week. Oh well, I've just changed the link again.
