Cannot find models in MSFS

Hello,
When trying to scan for models in the File-pop-upmenu I ghet the message that I have to start my sim + MSFS first. But it is active when I do so.
I cannot see any possibility fo point to the sim. I have version 3.0.8
What can I do?

Have you installed SimConnect from https://joinfs.net/SimConnect.msi ?

Peter,
Now in my JoinFS-folder is the Simconnect.dll of 25th of June, size 108.608 and my JoinFS.exe is of 12th August, 2,094,112 in size.\Now it works, found all objects.
