Hi,
Me and a couple of friends have been experimenting with the Beta and it is working well for two of us. I am using FS2020 and Dave is using P3D. We have no issue connecting or seeing each other in the sim with him using either 34 or 35. Unfortunately Stu (FS2020) cannot connect at all. We have checked his Security settings (BitDefender - Firewall) and allowed JoinFS unrestricted access and created an Exemption for the JoinFS folder for the AV. He has, though, installed Fs2020 to his E: drive (root path = E:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-4200888725-2688487236-1673577988-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe). I'm starting to wonder if this is the root cause of his issues?

Any thoughts?

I'm running FS2020 from my H: drive and the joinFS 1.4.35 connects and shows other aircraft fine.

Hi, I doubt that the FS install folder will have any effect on the network connection. Is he new to JoinFS? Has he had previous versions working before? And just to check, is it the Simulator button or the Network button that is failing to connect?

Hi, found the issue! He didn't have simconnect installed!!! Now works perfectly and we are all on 36
