Re: FS2020 Airplane flies sideways with SU6

Yep! Asobo has changed something and now all planes from JoinFS are flying sideways for me and my friends too

JFS 1.4.35 and MSFS2020 observation/query

Hi, Me and a couple of friends have been experimenting with the Beta and it is working well for two of us. I am using FS2020 and Dave is using P3D. We have no issue connecting or seeing each other in the sim with him using either 34 or 35. Unfortunately Stu (FS2020) cannot connect at all. We have ch...

Re: JoinFS and AI Aircraft

Personally for me that is mostly the case but occasionally it seems to be in alphabetical order. And NO I don't know what I do different when this occurs :? Having said that (and I know nothing about programming or the complexity of trying to do this!) if you can list the online aircraft at the top ...

Re: JoinFS and AI Aircraft

Sorry, let me clarify that a tad. What I mean is that I have a huge, LONG list of AI Aircraft that I either have to scroll past or pick out the online friends from the middle of. Because I'm a lazy b****** it would be easier for me (its ALL about me isn't it  ) if either the list was a lot shor...

JoinFS and AI Aircraft

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before but searching for AI Aircraft returned a "ignored because too common" result. So my query is about when flying online with friends AND Ultimate Traffic Live is active. When I go to View|Aircraft both AI and online aircraft are listed. I think I ...

Re: Xplane bad position on the map

Actually I remember my mate saying that I was 8000+nm away after he changed his aircraft but then it corrected itself at the next refresh.

I suspect 0,0 is 8000nm miles from NZCH :P

Re: Xplane bad position on the map

Just did a little more testing after a couple of hours away. When we reconnected the problem had disappeared. Unfortunately my mate has to work tomorrow so probably won't be able to test again until next week.

Will keep you informed

Re: No Models

Sorry, would that be Yes to C:\Program Files or to somewhere outside the Program Files folder?

Re: No Models

I know this may sound silly but can you confirm the path to your P3DV4 installation? Is it in C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\... or somewhere else e.g. (C:\)?
Also, is the Scan check box beside Airplanes ticked?

Re: Query 2: Missing Multiplayer Aircraft

Just reporting back. Have now flown a few sessions with other people (as well as the two original loose units  ) and have not had a repeat of the original issue 8-)

Re: Xplane bad position on the map

Hi, just thought I would jump in on this and report I had the same problem. Was testing with a friend who has X-Plane 11 and whilst we were both at NZCH in our Simulators (P3DV4 for me) we each reported the other as being 8000+nm away. Forgot to use Map

Re: Query 2: Missing Multiplayer Aircraft

Thanks for that Peter I will certainly check those items if the problem occurs again although it might be the weekend before I catch up with the others. In the user list, Paul disappeared from my list but not Dave's and I disappeared from Paul's list but again NOT from Dave's user list. However we d...

Query 2: Missing Multiplayer Aircraft

HI, Query 2 is about missing aircraft. Now this maybe a slight hiccup in the network or in the program but I'm just seeing if this has happened to anyone else. We had three users connected to the "server". We all spawned at the same airport (obviously). I could see Dave when he spawned and...

Re: Query 1: Missing Bookmark

OK, just tested and the rename worked, not sure how the name had the 2 added to it?

And yes, you are correct! It was 5 digits - need to put my reading glasses on!!

Re: Query 1: Missing Bookmark

Thanks for the quick reply Peter!

Just went to that location and there is a file there called bookmark2.txt and that had the necessary info in it. I will change the name and report back via this thread.

Cheers

Query 1: Missing Bookmark

Hi, I am new to JoinFS but we are looking to use it for our small VA because of its cross platform compatibility. I have set up (on a spare PC that I use to host our FSInn/FSCopilot Server) a JoinFS session which is available 24/7. It works very well and even though we only started using it this pas...
